Dont rely on a floor plan map with arrows pointing
to doorways make sure you have tried all the exits. FIND OUT WHOS IN CHARGE ·
Businesses should have an emergency response
coordinator and teams of employees trained to guide co-workers out of the
building and to provide first aid and CPR. ·
Businesses also should set up systems to help
handicapped employees. Two people
should be assigned to help each co-worker in need. FIND SAFETY SUPPLIES ·
Know where flashlights, radio, first-aid kits and
water are. BE ACCOUNTED FOR ·
Your employer should designate a place to meet after
evacuation. PRACTICE ·
A company should stage practice drills twice a year. BE AWARE ·
All employees can help make their workplace safer by
