(3) Consideration of Reduction of 2005-06 Oconee County Budget Ordinance by Two to Three Percent – Requested by Council Member Steven R. Moore

· The Oconee County Council Budget, Finance & Procurement Committee will meet Tuesday, September 6, 2005 at 4:30 pm in Council Chambers, 415 South Pine Street, Walhalla, SC the purpose of discussing the proposed millage for fiscal year 2005-06 as per Section 6-1-320, SC Code of Laws.                                                                 

· Council will conduct a separate special public meeting to consider adoption of the Fiscal Year 2005-06 millage at 5:00 pm.

· The Oconee County Council Road & Transportation Committee will meet Tuesday, September 6, 2005 at 5:30 pm in Council Chambers, 415 South Pine Street, Walhalla, SC for the purpose of discussing several roadway issues.

· The Council will convene in closed door executive session following one of the above meetings, or immediately after completion of the 7:00 pm regular Council Meeting for the purpose of discussing contractual and litigation issues.
